About Us
The Dorchester County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs is a non-profit, quasi-governmental agency in South Carolina. We are governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Governor of South Carolina upon the recommendation of the Dorchester County Council. With their guidance, we continually strive to meet the needs of people with disabilities and special needs in our community, ensuring they have the opportunity to live fulfilling, independent lives.
