Once applications are received they will be reviewed; if chosen, the applicant will receive a phone call from one of our Directors or Managers in reference to the applied position. All positions require the following upon offer of employment:
- Educational credentials (HS diploma/GED from an accredited school; college transcript if a degree is a requirement of the position)
- Criminal background and Department of Social Services checks
- 10-year driving record evidencing a safe driving history
- Physical exam certifying good overall health and ability to lift 50 pounds
- 2-step tuberculosis test
- Drug screening
Dorchester County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs provides paid holidays, sick leave, and annual leave time to full-time employees.
